CaptureLab is 100% local: We do not require payment, a subscription, registration, or user accounts. All video recording and editing takes place exclusively in your browser on your device.
Website analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., to measure visits to this marketing website and understand which pages are useful. The analytics script sends page-view data to Vercel. Your screen recordings and video files are not part of this analytics data.
Data collected: According to Vercel, analytics data may include the page URL, filtered query parameters, referring website, visit time, approximate location, device type, browser, operating system, and analytics script version. We receive aggregated statistics rather than information identifying individual visitors.
Cookies and visitor identification: Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies. It distinguishes visitors using a hash generated from the incoming request; the visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. This is not a statement that all analytics data is deleted after 24 hours. Vercel states that the service does not track visitors across different websites or applications.
